12 Days of DIY Christmas: Day Seven - Branch Displays

I didn't really know what to call this one. What I do know is that it was free to make. The only time consuming part was waiting for the paint to dry. I hate waiting.

The branches are from my yard. I spray painted them gold.

I put them in a glass vase I had, used this thin wire stuff to bundle them in the middle and tied a ribbon around the vase.

Boom! Done!

My next branch thing used more branches from my yard, but off a different tree. I spray painted them gold again...

put them in a vase I already had (which I actually don't like and might need to change it up)....

hung little Christmas balls on it...

anchored it with rocks (which I don't really like...anyone have ideas on how to anchor it? The branches and balls are so light the vase keeps tipping over without them)....

and Boom! Done!

Whatchya think? Easy easy, right?

That's really cool Lisa! So elegant - and yeah also looks easy! I might try that - now to figure out where to put it! LOL :)

Great idea and if you painted the rocks gold they might work better.

Just discovered your blog and I'll be watching for more good ideas!
