Where I've Been Part 1

If you're a "friend" on Facebook, then you know exactly where I've been, but those of you that are my blog friends I have failed in filling you in.


I already told you I was going to Vegas but did I tell you all that I was doing before going to Vegas? 


My pre Vegas vacation...


My plan was to leave after work on Friday, April 29th to go down to Vancouver, so I had to pack on Thursday night.  Ummm...Vancouver had a game on Thursday night.  I'm devoted to watching my Canucks in the playoffs.  I also don't have cable, so I watch the games at my parents house....20 minutes away.  By the time I got home after the game (knowing I had to be awake at 530ish Friday), I did not feel like planning outfits and deciding on shoes....so I over packed....

Okay so the big suitcase is clothes, the smaller one is shoes and purses, one Lululemon is bathroom stuff, the other Lululemon is my carry on and the camera bag is well...self explanatory.


Needless to say friends were making fun of me.  I'm okay with that though.  I had to repack before Vegas....which I managed to narrow down to just the large suite case, my gray Lulu carry on and my camera bag.


On Friday night when we got down there, my besties and I went to my favorite pub for dinner and drinks, where we met up with a couple of drunk friends (Hi V!!  You were hilarious).


Saturday morning was a much needed spa morning.  Then we headed into Vancouver to go for dinner before the Canucks game...

Moxie sized Bellini's were a must.


Then we got our Canucks gear and went to Game 2 of Round 2.

The hilarious guys beside us....look at all their beer.  They always came back with 2 beers each.

Our team ended up losing in the second overtime.  I take full responsibility.  It was my fault.  I was in the washroom when Nashville got the overtime winning goal.  I held on as long as I could, but I just couldn't wait anymore. Sorry.


Then on Sunday I had an old persons hangover (too many late nights in a row) so I slept most of the day.


Sunday evening was Sarah McLachlan.

Okay Jacey, I know you don't like her, but I do.  I love her!  She is my fav!  I've seen her live quite a few times and it's not something I get tired of.  Her voice is amazing and she's unbelievable live.  I seriously love everything about her.


It was a perfect evening. 


It was a perfect girls weekend.


Then on Monday evening we flew out to Vegas.  That needs it's own post so I'll just leave you with this picture...

After leaving 37degree heat (96 for you, Americans) in Vegas, we drove through this on our way home Sunday.
