I started this blog back in 2010 when my Facebook friends and family told me that my status updates were ridiculous and I should be a blogger with my over opinions and randomness.
My first few posts were random and I still have those type of random posts often, but over time it has sort of evolved into a DIY/home decor blog...with a side of personal.
I love how blogging has changed me. I now qualify for hoarders and I'm so cheap I have a hard time buying things brand new unless they are on for a ridiculous clearance price. I look at junk and try to figure out how to make it useful or into art. Thrift stores are my newest drug of choice.
Home decor and DIY have become a passion. I search Craigslist and Kijiji daily and I'm thinking I should have shares in a spray paint company with the amount I buy. I've had to quit getting manicures because my finger nails are always breaking and if I don't have paint on my hands, arms and legs...well then you aren't looking close enough, because even as I'm typing this fresh out of the shower, I still have paint in my hair.
Most of my pajama pants have paint on them....it's my DIY outfit of choice....flannel pjs and oversized t-shirts. You can normally find me at home wearing that with a a Lululemon headband. I'm lucky that I live in a small village, if I have to run to the hardware store, I normally just slip on my Uggs and go in the previous mentioned outfit...and no one even does a double take.
I love my fabulously single life. I'm busy, I'm creative and always on the go. My friends and family mean the world to me and I would do anything for them. They keep me going, daily. I love the
